SORI!

Easily my favorite game of the year. So much fun!

I was trying speed home to catch the end but I'm still stuck on the train dammit. Oh well, this is the kind of game that reminds you that baseball is awesome even when your team is 30 games under.

It's great to get an exciting win, but the plate discipline was spectacular. I hope someone will be pointing to the young guys out the correlation between that and all the runs scored.

When was the last time the Cubs walked 11 times in a game?

Pretty much.

I was going to bag on Castro and Rizzo going a combined 2-9 despite scoring 9 runs but then both of them came through with huge hits and both days end up looking solid.

If you could frame/bronze a game to set an example as to young players as to how to approach an AB this one is definitely up there.

Rizzo didn't look so hot when he wasn't getting hits, but Castro was working it most of the day.

Seriously, if anyone just wants a really, really satisfying game to watch, probably the best one all year, catch the replays of this game. Yeah, you'll have to ignore most of the pitching, but the offense looked like the one we've been dreaming about forever.

I was only able to watch the live look in on MLB tonight, but they were praising us for signing Castro. They also were praising his patience and how it is developing.

Of course this is the one game I forgot to set the DVR for.

I think CSN is replaying in just like a couple hours. They'll probably do it again overnight, too.

They will indeed replay this game tonight at 7 PM and Friday morning at 1:30 AM.

Game Day/MLB At Bat have the big plays available. Just now watched the big 9th inning hits. Definitely one of those games which likely filled Brewerfan with "5th place team celebrating like they won game 7 of the World Series" type posts.

Has to be. He left after only two PAs in the game and that was his last game of the year.
