how much longer is Lahair going to be playing?

 

Sveum said he is meeting with the brass tomorrow, and the topic of call-ups for guys like Vitters and Jackson would be brought up. Reading between the lines, I wonder if Dale is going to push to get another OF.

Probably until the arrival of Jackson and Sappelt in September.

 

I just looked up Sappelt's numbers this year...ouch. It's arguable he'd actually be a downgrade from LaHair.

Well, they surely are going to blow ass, but it's still going to be exciting to watch BJax, Vitters and Rizzo all play together on the big club.

Just going by the eye test Starlin has to have a pretty decent slash line over the last 7 or so games. I know he had been going through a mini slump for a while.

It would be more exciting if Jackson and Vitters were actually playing well in the minors.
