Well, they surely are going to blow ass, but it's still going to be exciting to watch BJax, Vitters and Rizzo all play together on the big club.

It would be more exciting if Jackson and Vitters were actually playing well in the minors.

WTF? Vitters is having a very good year

Vitters has been playing quite well for quite a while now in the minors. At least offensively speaking

new career high for HRs for Castro with 11 and its still 8/1

ISO

2012: .150

2011: .125

2010: .108

YESSSS

Question though, when someone references "iso," why does it represent IsoP instead of the more important IsoD? Why don't I hear about IsoD really at all anymore?

isoD is sometimes distorted by HBP rates, like Baez for one; BB% usually makes more sense

and yeah, Vitters is having a fine season, if you completely just pretend defense isn't a thing

FWIW, Sappelt's line looks bad obviously, but he's played much, much better for the last month, maybe a bit longer. Not a guy I keep total track of, but he's been much better recently.

.317/.368/.442 in July. A little worse than that since the all star break, but almost exactly that in the last 10 games. So, it looks like he had a hot start to July, a mediocre middle of the month and a good end to July.

Ball 3 to Snider was almost exactly in the middle of the strike zone on Gameday.

Enough of Camp already.

I think all of the appearances early in the year are taking their toll. Or maybe, Camp remembered that he is not that good.
