If Mike takes Barnes, it's because he actually thinks he's the BPA, because one thing I'm sure of, he at least has a pulse on UNC's fans. Barnes is not one of the "popular" Carolina guys, that people would come out to see, as Sean May, for instance, was. If they take him, it's not going to help with ticket sales and Mike knows that much anyway.

I really wanted the Bulls to find a way into the top 10 to grab Jeremy Lamb. I think he's going to be a monster, and he has a pretty high floor. Worst case scenario he becomes one of the best defensive 2 guards in the league with the ability to chip in 12-15 points per game. His ceiling is ridiculous, in my mind. He really can do it all. He has a good jump shot with good range. He has quickness, can handle the ball adequately, tremendous leaping ability, and of course his length.

I'm a UNC fan and I think there's about 8 or so guys I'd take over Barnes. The guy is freakishly athletic, but he doesn't play athletic. He looks very robotic out there and doesn't play with aggression. And that was against inferior opponents. I believe this was mostly due to his poor ball handling skills. He isn't very good at creating his own shot consistently at this point in his development either. If he's in the right situation, I can see him developing into a very good pro, but it's going to take a lot of hard work and good coaching.

Plus, Rich Cho seems to be in charge now and not MJ.

Bobcats apparently have 5 offers for the 2 pick and are weighing their options. I have full faith in them that they won't take the best of the 5 offers and if they keep the pick they will end up taking the wrong guy.

Houston just traded Dalembert and 14 to Milwaukee for 12 and Shaun Livingston, Jon Brockman, and Jon Leurer.

That's odd that Leuer got dumped by Milwaukee. He was a local guy (from MN, played in Madison) and I know UW grads that were going to games to see him. Granted he's a bench player, but why flush him for nothing as a throw in on this deal? You already have a bunch of players that the fans don't connect with. Oh well, maybe they franchise will just move. Put Bucks fans out of their misery.

Dalembert for just Livingston and Brockman doesn't match up salary wise. Leuer was probably thrown in to make it a legal trade.

Ah, ok that make sense I guess. It must suck to get traded because you're contract was just the right size.

Judging by who's around when the Celtics are picking according to mocks, I'd go for:

Terrence Jones

Fab Melo

Jared Sullinger

Will Barton

Quincy Miller

Jeff Taylor

Marquis Teague

2nd round

Quincy Acy

Robbie Hummel (Collect all the Boilermakers!)

JaMychael Green

Looks like a few mocks have the Celtics taking White. When his biggest red flag is "fear of flying" that's not a bad thing, right?

I really hope Hummel gets drafted. He's apparently being linked to the Jazz over the last couple days.

He might be a guy better off not getting drafted and then being able to pick a team he would fit with. Like the spurs.

True, I guess I should say that I hope he ends up in the NBA, which I think he will. As long as his knees hold up. I would love for him to go to the Spurs.

Bobcats take MKG. This is not good.

Nightmare scenario for the Cavs. Please trade out of this pick.

I like MKG a lot, but fear for him with that pick. He can't create his own shot and has been drafted to a team without a pg.

He's 18. I wouldn't close the book on him being able to develop that
