This means nothing, but I thought it was funny that the Mets' announcers were talking about the bleachers as if they opened 3 hours before the game (they don't) and that there were lines of oodles of people waiting to get in long before that (there haven't been at any game I've been to in 6 years). But then I assume most visiting announcers are similarly misinformed.

Speaking of the Mets announcers, they are some of the most colossal douches I've ever heard, and I listen to a lot of the announcers because of EI.

The bleachers open up two hours before the game, and yes, there's usually a ton of people lining up.

My definition of a ton must be different. The last few years I've been there were perhaps 200 people in line by the time they opened the gates. Still quite a few but a far cry from the mid-00s.

It's typically down the block, especially on weekends.

I'm about an inning behind... is Bob having a stroke? Len was just talking about Rizzo getting a change-up first pitch and Bob starts talking about Camp getting the last guy in the top of the inning out on a ground ball inducing change-up.

Then, a little later, when the Mets stole 2nd, Bob started talking about how when the ball beats you by that much, it shouldn't matter if you actually get the tag down.
