Norris has been on a roll, striking out a lot of hitters. That does not bode well for much of our lineup. Hopefully LaHair gets back on track tonight.

That works. I'll be on it tomorrow.

No real changes because Dale really doesn't have a lot of options...

DeJesus - RF

Campana - CF

Castro - SS

LaHair - 1b

Soriano - LF

Stewart - 3B

Cardenas - 2B

Hill - C

Garza - P

The thing that gets me is how no matter who the manager is, Koyie Hill starts almost every day when the starting catcher gets hurt. I realize the Cubs are down to the 4th string, but is Blake Lalli really that bad that Koyie Hill is the better option? It is very sad if that is true.

This is the 29th distinct lineup that Sveum has used in 41 games. It is also the same as yesterday's lineup, so..... the CUBS are 0-1 with this lineup.

HP: Bill Welke

1b: Chris Guccione

2b: Tim Tschida (cc)

I like how we're 11 games under .500 but are still within 7 games of first. Meaning the division is technically still winnable.

I'm very excited to see Matt Garza field tonight. I might get loaded if he throws a guy out at first.

That's two snarky Garza fielding comments in a row. What did I miss?

In general, Garza is a LaHairian nightmare when trying to do anything beyond his specific skillset(throwing pitches), but specifically he had some hilariously bad throws in his last start.

That commercial was awesome. I've never seen it before.

I actually saw Sosa in there. I was pretty sure the Cubs were trying to erase his existence.
