As part of its annual rankings of the top 10 players at each position, the Network deemed that Hanley Ramirez is the game's best in left field -- even though he's never played the position.

Wow, I was just looking him up on Fangraphs and it's easy to forget how valuable a player he was. He had a nine year stretch where he put up 58.1 fWAR.

He was fun to watch. I'm just saying, if someone had made me a bar bet yesterday about his average WAR over those nine years being 6.5, I probably would have taken the under. Would have pegged him at more like 5 wins/yr.
