yeah, that's bogus; he pretty likely hurt it playing hockey

I don't know man, lots of pro athletes seem to get injured from their dogs.

Dogs hate pro athletes.

What about air bud?

The Indians are apparently planning on playing Carlos Santana at 3B this year

i suspect he'll be smooth over there. he's always looked super natural at the other positions.

I'm feeling you. Every now and then I wonder why the Cubs haven't tried to sign him.

Baseball even screwing up their improvements.

Jon Morosi @Jonmorosi

Development in replay talks: At request of MLBPA, source says "neighborhood play" at 2B on double plays likely will NOT be reviewable.

Why would the MLBPA want to make that not reviewable?

Because it's "part of the game" and presumably they will claim it cuts down on injuries.

I'd guess that it happens so frequently that they don't want constant reviews/overturns

It seems like the league/owners would care more about game delays than the players would though. Injury concerns makes some sense I guess

Home run calls that are currently subject to instant replay review will continue to be reviewed at the crew chief's discretion. Managers may request that an umpire review a home run call, but managers cannot challenge home run calls.

Why not?

Holy [expletive], CC. I suppose we are getting to that time of year where everyone is "in the best shape of their life." But this appears to be true, for CC.
