Cubs have won 9 of 15 including series wins over teams with three of the best four records in the NL. Hopefully they can keep it up.

Go Cubs!

Game is at 7:10

Thanks for the correction. I fixed it. I'm so used to looking at game times and subtracting three hours so I know when the game starts out here because they're normally east coast. I did the same thing here without even thinking about it.

I'm pumped for this series. I'm expecting at the least, a series win. Hopefully our great starting pitching keeps going strong. I think it's fairly obvious we have the pitching advantages Friday and Sunday. But you have to execute on the field.

Since today is an off day everyone should be stuffing the All-Star ballot box for LaHair and Castro.

I'm interested in what they are doing.

Which is far more than I expected.

Go Cubs!

It is Chicago, so you don't have to be alive to vote. Have your dearly departed vote for them too.

i dont get it

Clearly he was replying to the post above that one about All Star voting. Duh.

That or he somehow thought kujay's post had something to do with the post above it. *shrug*

No, but Reed and Baker are 1-2. Playing CF and RF.

Baker has an OPS over 1000 in 25 PA vs Wolf. Reed, not so much. But LaHair doesn't need the leadoff man to get on in order to hit HR.

While their positioning--both defensively and in the batting order--may be questionable, I can certainly see why Sveum wants their bats in line-up tonight.

Career splits vs. LHP:

Johnson: .310/.367/.462

Baker: .306/.358/.520

Wolf has been knocked around early this season. To RHB in particular, he has as many XBH allowed (14) as strikeouts. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Edit: Just for fun, Castro vs. LHP: .359/.400/.508
