For those listening on the radio or following on Gameday, Castro just hit that ball roughly as hard as Glenallen Hill's famous home run, and it hit the outfielder in the chest at the warning track.

Pat was saying the outfielder screwed it up because he thought it was out for sure.

Yeah, it was mashed. That said, Heisey was essentially camped under it.

I can only image he looked up and saw it sailing out of the yard, just to see the wind literally push it back into his vision, and thus he dropped it.

He ran back to the wall as if it were out, but turned square to it and had plenty of time to watch himself muff it. It was bad.

I know this knife cuts both ways, but I really, really hate cold weather, wind blowing in baseball at Wrigley. Hate it.

It seems like it always benefits the other team even though it's the same both ways.

Cubs lead the league in SB allowed.

Is that an indictment of the pitchers, catchers or Marlins?

Geo was making some great throws, so I'm thinking it has a lot to do with the Marlins and something to do with pitchers and less to do with Geo. Clevenger seems to have a feeble arm, though.

I just hate it with this current Cubs offense.

I've always hated it. It sucked when we had a bunch of power hitters, too.
