Why did the Cubs decide to go for an all out rebuild again? This really isn't fun at all.

Theo was really stressed out from all those high-pressure years in Boston, and Ricketts is a meatball who thinks that good players making too much money was a reason we were bad.

Marlon Byrd is seriously my least favorite Cub in the last decade. Hate him more than Milton Bradley, who doesn't deserve to be hated. Guy is awful and when he was hitting he couldn't do it in the clutch. Terrible. Edited by Rizzo Smash

This is usually what stage 1 of a rebuild looks like. Yeah, it's not fun to watch or even follow via gameday but if this is still happening in 2014 than we can complain about the rebuild strategy.

Also, between the debt service on the Ricketts' purchase of the team and the Wrigley Field renovations, we have to prepare for our mid-market budget in the next few years.

Also we're cursed and this only happens to us.

I'm so glad we're paying 90% of Zambrano's salary and all we got in return was Chris Volstad. Should have just kept Zambrano and had him destruct on this team. But no the fans wanted Zambrano gone. The same idiot fans that wanted Kerry Wood to come back another year. Theo just needs to do his own thing and stop listening to these fans that have supported a losing culture for decades.

I just hope sitting through whatever this is is worth it in a few years. This type of baseball, followed by more bad baseball would be tough to swallow.
