Random question: What ever became of Evan Crafowrd, the guy we got for Fontenot. he had a nice season for Daytona last year, and now seems to have fallen off the map. Toronto has a prospect named Evan Crawford, but he's a pitcher and more white than the other one.

Javier Baez hit a 400 foot homer today and just like the first one, stood and admired it. The Angels bench told him to run the bases, he did, then got to home plate and yelled "I'll do whatever the [expletive] I want." I guess we may have an idea as to why he's nj ot in Peoria? Also, Marck Malave arrived at Fitch today and worked out at 3B, instead of C.

I love it. Is it too soon for "Javi being Javi?"

Sounds like a pretty sweet power trip for a random coach for the extended Spring Training Angels. He should be very proud of himself.

Ooohhh, maybe I'll actually get to find out how I would feel about Bryce Harper if he were on my team...

Last I recall, AzPhil indicated he was in rehab.

How long before the tasteless clothing line hits stores?

Baez clearly belongs at Peoria. Glad to see that.

Marco Hernandez with a double and a walk. Sure that brings his OPS up to .295, but he has to start somewhere.

Not surprising, but Hultzen's really mowing through our Smokies lineup.

Not Ha though! A walk and a double for him. If they have any hope for him at all in center, I'm annoyed that they're letting Adduci play CF so often right now. My pessimistic side says that the scouts don't seem to like him at all so maybe there's not much projection in him, but then I keep coming back to that he is holding his own at a very young age at a premium position (if he's playing center).

did we establish why Vitters is batting 8th?

I believe some have theorized that it makes him take pitches and have a selective approach since he is more likely to be pitched around.

According to gameday, Rizzo "popped out sharply" in his 2nd AB. That's pretty amazing.

I'm struggling to imagine a "sharp" pop out.

Pretty nice outing for Rhee: 6.1 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 4/0 K/BB, 1 HR

Hard to believe this is the first time he's been at AA. Seems like he's been in that A+/AA zone for ages.

if you do manage to imagine a sharp pop out, the universe might unravel.
