Shawn Camp has the easiest relief job in the world, get one out before the Brewers plate 8 runs.

Paul Maholm says that's not so easy.

Maholm got one out before the Brewers plated any runs.

But he never said it was easy

To anyone who follows Kevin Goldstein on Twitter, Clevenger's the latest Cub that fans are going gaga over and he's doing his best to bring them back down to earth.

Haters gonna hate! Clevenger is the [expletive] man!

What did people expect? We had to watch Koyie Hill for like 5 years. We don't know what it's like to have a backup catcher that can actually hit.

Most fans don't, because most backup catchers can't. Koyie Hill wasn't some uniquely terrible player.

So if we only win the last game of every series what will our record be?

Not sure, but a lot of 2 gamers would sure make it better!

Garza was hilariously refreshingly honest about how pissed he was at screwing up that throw after the game.

Can't wait to watch Smardz tomorrow.

Hill was more of an automatic out than your average backup catcher, or even middle reliever. However, there are others like him out there. How quickly we forget Paul Bako.

Also, people weren't going gaga over Clevenger. One guy joked that Goldstein was going to be a wet blanket about him(he didn't), and then the other asked him what he thought of a future Castillo/Clevenger platoon(Goldstein liked the traditional Castillo start/Clevenger backup paradigm better).

There must have been more tweets to him that werent posted because he later mentioned something comparing him to Hollandsworth in '04, meaning people getting too excited over him.

That's what that means? You sure?

Anyway, this is stupid at this point, but you can search the people who tweet at Goldstein, even sorting it by Clevenger's name. There's nothing there.
