Ball 2 to Zimmerman looked like a good pitch.

Dempster's had 4-5 pitches called balls where pitch f/x disagreed.

The system they are showing on the TV appears to be agreeing with the ump.

Wiggled off the hook again. Too many pitches for Demp thus far.

He got screwed by an error and what appears to be a tight strike zone.

Thanks again, Jayson Werth!

Dude is the next Soriano.

I swear I was just thinking the same thing. Year1 of his contract and the Nats were regretting it already. Year2 may be worse.

The TV pitch plotters have a habit of not disagreeing with the call.

You don't wanna see our bullpen spring into action?

This ump sure doesn't like Dempster

I think he's just not giving the close ones to the pitcher. And for entertainment purposes alone I hope umps don't call close balls strikes just for the fun of it.

It would be nice if Dempster got the close pitches like Strasburg just did on strike 1 to Soto.

I'm not sure how accurate we can assume the pitch f/x people are either.

Either way, they haven't looked egregious.

I dislike LaRoche more than I should.

Right with you...almost posted that he's the reason I can't hate LaHair being the 1B right now. The guy is terrible.

He's actually had some good years but he seems like he just has a terrible approach to hitting. He seems like a lefty version of Soriano where he can look a lot worse than he really is.

Along with my irrational hatred for LaRoche, I have the same irrational liking of DeJesus.

He's responsible for half of the Cubs offense this year. It's not irrational. :P
