Use to indulge heavily in high school, now I never touch the stuff out of personal preference, but throughout I have carried my belief that it should be legalized. Its really good to see the progress they've made for marijuana reform over the past decade or so, and I hold the belief it will be legalized to some extent across the country in my lifetime.

 

I would like it completely legalized and regulated, but I guess I would be ok with decriminalizing it so its just a fine for small amounts. Just seems like a waste of time to go after harmless pot smokers.

Tried it maybe a 1/2 dozen times in college. Never did much for me. Plus my heavy pot-smoking friends were all idiots.

 

That said, legalize it. Hemp has a lot of useful purposes beyond smoking

Totally legal. If something as damaging to our society and personal health like alcohol is legal then there is no reason weed shouldn't be. It will be legal 15 years from now imo.

I am thinking about young newusername. Working at a factory during the day and a liquor store at night. Finding many a buyer for my true passion in places like that. Oh those were growth moments in my life. I would have actually had to support my dope habit on what I made at my jobs if Cannabis was legal. Keep it illegal for all the young entrepreneurs!

Do you honestly think that legalizing weed is going to increase the number of marijuana users in this country? Maybe slightly, but not enough for that to be a reason against legalizing pot. Are potheads really killing this country more than the excessive jailing of petty criminals?

I never said Potheads are killing this country. They are just killing brain cells. Just don't know if it's a good idea to throw another drug out there for the kiddies to try. I don't know, I might be over sensitive because I have kids, but I sure don't want any more crap for them to try. Again, I'm more concerned about Meds.
