Why anyone would want to spend more time in Buffalo than is needed to drive through it is beyond me.

stop panicing. There's a chance he never does get on that plane to Buffalo. And just because a team doesnt want the player to leave without a contract doesn't mean the player can't leave if he wants to.

When UMFan tells you to stop panicking, you've reached a new level of overreaction.

I wonder how this move affects the Bears power ranking numbers.

Just came home to this great news. Now get Williams, draft an OL in Rnd 1 and a WR or TE in Rnd 2, and we can finally find out what a professional offense looks like.

For #Bears, @BMarshall19 2012 cap number is $9.5 million then $9.3 in 2013 & 2014. #Bears still have about $17 million in space this year

Sounds like the Bears wont get Mario Williams, the deal is getting too rich and appears the Bills are in the lead--with the most money

Good sign for #Bears: Getting texts from coaches/ execs with other NFC North teams who are none too pleased about @BMarshall19 trade

RT @michaelombardi: Expect QB Jason Campbell to visit the Bears soon--they are working on a deal.

If the Bears get Williams, I'd look to trade up to the Carolina range and draft Riley Reiff to play LT. If no DE brought in, I'd probably trade up to 12-15 range and draft Nick Perry. Getting a legit WR opens so many doors.

I didnt catch who was saying this, but they said on the Score that rival NFC North GMs have been texting that they are none to happy with this deal. Edited by UMFan83

Believe #Bears will seek pass-rushing help in free agency but Mario Williams' visit to #Bills gives them huge edge. Don't think CHI is in it

Even though he is fat and lame, this does seem to be the trend.

Did it get mentioned that the Bears re-signed Tim Jennings about an hour ago? I'm not sure if everybody knew that was a thing.

I know...that was originally a post reporting the Campbell visit, then once I saw it already posted I changed it to that before seeing CT posted it. I'm not changing it again, oh well.

Would it still be outrageous for the Bears to sign another WR?

Yes. They need to draft one.

I figured as much. I'm just greedy.

According to the St. Petersburg Times, free agent Vincent Jackson to the Bucs is "close to a done deal."

Flush with salary cap space, the Bucs went strong after V-Jax while the Redskins and Rams turned to Pierre Garcon. Per NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora, other teams are already moving on, realizing they can't compete with the Bucs. The only legit No. 1 receiver on the market, Jackson would be a boon for Josh Freeman's fantasy value.

Would not be surprised if #Bears also pursue a safety in free agency. Lovie happy with 3rd rd picks from last 2 years but turnover constant

DE and OL plz
