Yeah, but we get to play some soft divisions. Also, looking at our schedule, 5 of our last 7 games are divisional games....that's really odd scheduling. Is the NFL purposely trying to put more divisional games later?

I believe they are. I remember it being a discussion point recently. I think the thought being you'll create more playoff race matchups.

Wow looks like not only did none of the starters play (which is standard) but no 2nd stringers played either. McCown is the starting QB, Booker is the starting RB, Sanzenbacher is among the starting WRs

I doubt they would use this rule on Brandon Hardin. You save it in case a stud like Cutler, Marshall, Peppers, Urlacher, Briggs gets hurt and is going to miss 5-6 games, but not the entire season.

I watched way too much of that game last night. The only real position battle is for the 3rd RB, and personally, I like Booker more than Allen in that regard. Booker looked a lot faster than Allen, and had better moves and vision.
