Well it's not just about Rose. Although Rose is the vastly superior piece to build a team around.

The overall talent would be far better in Chicago. And the coaching. And pretty much anything to do with winning.

Doesn't NJ have a ton of money to spend?

To resign Deron and Dwight if they got him, yeah.

Ignoring the statistical argument, in which Rose shreds Deron Williams(I'm not going to even bother)...Deron also has the reputation as a coach killer now, while DRose is a coaches dream.

Am I a bitter Bulls fan that is sour cause Dwight doesn't want to play here? Of course.

If Howard wanted to play with the most talent, it would be an easy choice

But I think it's pretty clear that his team choices are based on non-basketball opportunities in LA/NYC.

Despite Chicago being my favorite city in America, I can admit that it's not the "sexy" choice for any FA to pick

LeBron and Wade and Bosh and Howard have no desire to play for the Bulls. But let's blame them, not whatever's actually stopping them from coming there.

What's your pet theory on this?

Well, you are consistently butt-hurt every time the Bulls win, so I guess this is a good excuse to start a referendum on what's wrong with Derek Rose. Figures.

I have no idea, but stamping your face and shouting they're stupid!! doesn't seem to be working.

I don't see any shouting in here, at all. No stamping of faces either. You do like your embellishments when it comes to this stuff.

To me, the Big 3 wanted the spectacle of keeping everyone in the dark about wanting to play together until the last possible moment. Not much anyone could've done about that.

As for Howard, we're still supportive. I don't see it as being particularly homerific to point out that the Bulls have a better argument than the Nets for Howard when it comes to winning games and building a perennial contender.

SSR isn't at the Tim Wise level of projection, but he's pretty far up there.

Maybe he just doesn't have very much between the ears.

I find that to be the case with many people who use god as a crutch like he does.

To be fair he did impregnate a magic dancer like 5 years ago.

Im dissapointed in his play after signing the deal, despite the fact that he has recorded msotly double doubles for the last 3 weeks. And enough with "double doubles". Kris Humphries averaged a double double as a part time starter last year and got a 1 year deal.

oh so the kris humphries thing now means that double doubles aren't good?

your expectations seems to be ridiculous. for the last few weeks noah has been as good as he basically ever was.

Rose must use God as a wheelchair.

that's paul pierce

I couldn't have put that more on a tee if I was Micah Bowie

My expectations are he plays to a 5-60. We signed him a year and. Half ago. Not two weeks ago.

I think there was a way last year that Lebron, Wade, and Bosh ALL could have wound up in Chicago, with Rose and Noah. At the very least, we know it was possible for any 2 of the 3 to do it. Why didn't it happen? We'll never know, but they chose to play in Miami with no help, over joining a team that was much better, with them on it, than what they got themselves into. Was it because they're stupid? Or was it because they just didn't want to play in Chicago? I hate saying it, but my guess is the latter. And now, Howard's probably going to go down the same path. We can try and win by playing "team" basketball all we want, but it's very likely that what we're going to do, is be the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavs, New York Knicks type of excellent teams that never won it all. Bitch about SSR trolling about this if you want, but he's right. There's a reason these guys aren't coming here. And if we can't change that, it's likely we continue to be damn good, but not great.

First off you are wrong about getting all three. Miami event get the 3 max deals n they had purged their roster of everything but I think Mario chalmers. Iirc we could get a full max an under the max and still keep rose and Noah.

An the rest of the post is wrong. NBA players like Miami for reasons other than Mickey arison, pat Riley and whoever their fan base is. Chicago cannot change climates, geographical features or club scenes to entice free agents. I think you are completely missing the reasons these guys wanna play here they wan to play.

Also we have the reiging MVP, won 62 games and played a respectable ECF series against a legit great team. With our centerpiece bing 23 years old we have already eclipsed the pinnacle reached by the 80s an early 90s caves teams an I soil say our floor is to hav a 90s Knicks-like run.
