he just told you why.

but he hit 2 homeruns

Goony, point is he can hit the ball out of that park. It's not THAT difficult a place to play.

That isn't really the point. He can hit the ball out of any park. The point is the rate one would expect to do it in different parks is quite different.

Yeah, that's true. My thinking was that here is a contending team that actually wants him, and he doesn't want to go there. I don't see many other teams knocking down the door to get him.

Maybe he has confidence that Theo & Jed will lead the Cubs to be a contending team within the next couple years.

Good God, he's probably one of the best teammates in baseball. He's been excellent for us. I truly don't care if he gets dealt or not. Concentrate on the others, which I'm sure they're doing anyway.

Sori is a dysfunctional player now? Ok, MLBN

The hell?!? I don't think I've ever heard anything about Soriano, during his time with the Cubs, in regards to him being a bad teammate/distraction/not hard worker/etc.

Alfonso Soriano will not be traded before the deadline today....but possibility of August deal exists...but Cubs have to eat more money
