Did his supplier cut him off after '93?

The original big Z, EDDIE ZAMBRANO.

Also, Gary Scott (now that I look at his minor league numbers, it seems that he was never really a good prospect but the cubs just tried to pawn him off as one)

I seem to remember him being one of those guys who had one monster spring training but that was all he ever gave us.

Lance Dickson.

Drafted in 1990, made 3 starts the same year at age 20, never seen in the Majors again.

I still have his major league debut on VHS because I was so convinced he was going to be a superstar.

Sigh...

NOBODY TOOK THE BEST ONE

jim bullinger

:D

I was gonna name him, but somehow he seemed like the least obscure obscure player ever.

I know he was more late 80's,though he did last pitch in 1990, but how about Jeff Pico? Who could forget his debut when he shut out the Reds, I beleive a complete game. I was 12 so I didnt know any better so I waited for the remainder of his short career for him to replicate it and become a top pitcher, but his career only lasted another 2 years.

Pfftt... Amaury Telemaco's debut > that.

Think he took a no-no into the 7th.

Andrew Lorraine had a pretty good Cubs debut.

I have Mike Perez's autograph on an old issue of Cubs Quarterly somewhere.
