Scott barely played over 2 mins...wow a valuable guy.

What does that say about Morrison?

Q must really hate him? Hard to imagine being a center at a time when your team's best center is hurt and you get scratched for a useless goon.

I didn't see the game, How did Hammer look?

That he sucks. I know we didn't really give anything up for him, but that was a bad move.

Yup. You've probably got guys thinking they can get away with serial killing on that team playing alongside an attention-magnet like Kane. Toews probably got smacked in the face firing his illegal .50 cal. sniper rifle at some hobos.

Why would Toews shoot a hobo when he could just stare at them until their heads exploded?

how else do you randomly drive into an EL support beam?

When I worked in the loop (Madison and Wabash) people bounced off those things all the time.

Yup. Especially near the UC on Lake. It's like a freaking video game over there.

I have a feeling Scott may have already spent more time in the box tonight than he will spend on the ice.

I have no clue why Shaw isn't back and playing instead of that idiot.

Jonathan Toews is yet to resume skating. Quenneville didn't sound as optimistic today as he was yesterday about the #Blackhawks captain.

Great, he's the next Crosby

BTW, the Kings are 5 points behind us in the 9th spot and have 2 games in hand over us. At this point I think its more likely we miss the playoffs than make it.

Considering how willing everybody in the organization was to take that giant step back last year, this might be the actual wake up call they need to finally stop living off the glory of 2010. Nobody seemed all that upset about having a 1st round exit. Everybody just chalked it up to a hangover and assumed they'd be back this season. But now that they might actually miss the playoffs that nonsense can stop. Bowman has to actually start acquiring impact players at some point. He hasn't done anything but sell so far. I'd be fine if it doesn't happen until the offseason. Missing the playoffs would suck, but maybe this team needs the excuse to fire Q and overhaul the supposed "core" that has done very little since the cup. My biggest concern is Rocky will hesitate to remain financially aggressive, but if he keeps the checkbook even moderately open, they should be much better very soon.
