Concussion for Toews supposedly.

Q says he is "progressing" but is out tomorrow.

I've been assuming that is what he's been battling for several weeks now.

I would hope not -- I thought they weren't supposed to be playing if they had symptoms.

Jesse Rogers says it's "symptoms" but perhaps not actual concussion and thinks he'll be back this weekend. He also says Hammer is a go for tomorrow night.

I mean, I thought that's what he missed time with a while back, and then when I heard he was out again I worried was something related to it again. As for playing with symptoms, there's no way that doesn't happen with multiple guys.

No doubt. I really don't think the league or team training staffs look the other way anymore, but if a player shakes it off and gives no indication of trouble, which I'm sure they do, then yes.

Yes, I am sure people are going to wonder what a concussed hockey player was doing driving around the city. Based on what is posted above on this page it doesnt seem like the concussion was particularly severe, but how else do you randomly drive into an EL support beam?

Road head.

Very plausible, but the article said he was alone. The other thought is alcohol, but it was at 10 AM, and being drunk in the morning is really more of a Kane thing.

Don't be fooled by the boy scout persona. Kane is an open book, it's the ones like Toews that you can't trust.

And being drunk at 10am is an any 20-something with millions in the bank and no day job thing.

Yup. You've probably got guys thinking they can get away with serial killing on that team playing alongside an attention-magnet like Kane. Toews probably got smacked in the face firing his illegal .50 cal. sniper rifle at some hobos.

Why would Toews shoot a hobo when he could just stare at them until their heads exploded?

When I worked in the loop (Madison and Wabash) people bounced off those things all the time.

And now Dallas takes the lead.

Blackhawks in danger of losing their first game in regulation all season where they entered the 3rd with the lead.

Stars have absolutely dominated the Hawks in the 3rd and it finally shows on the scoreboard.
