I just know I'm going to end up being horribly, horribly wrong. However, I really like Verlander/Fister and I think the Tigers are well-balanced.

It's tough to pick the Cards, on many different levels. Actually, there's no logical reason to pick the Cards. Which is why I believe they will shock (and annoy) everyone by making a run. It would be just like them to win it all in a year where they really had no business even making the playoffs. On the positive side, if they did win that would be the last nail in the coffin of any chance that Pujols would stay.

I really do expect a great WS this year. I'm rooting for Tigers/Rangers/Rays vs. the Brewers in the NL. The Brewers have the type of talent that can be really nasty in a series. This means they'll be eliminated in the first round.
