Are the AZL Cubs done for the season?

=(

They were a great boxscore to look at with Baez, Vogelbach, etc.

Yeah, Sunday was the season finale. A few of their guys might show up in Boise.

Does that just mean returning as in 'going home for the offseason'?

Yeah, Bruce beat me to the punch on this info in the AFL thread and said they're going back to play on the Taiwanese National Team.

Hoilman is now tied for the Boise club record for HR. He's getting my attention.

LaHair now owns the Iowa club record for HR.

has he also set the boise club record for strikeouts?

he really does stick out in our system of impatient contact hitters... he's the only real TTO guy, at least that i can think of.

Forget Fielder or Pujols we have LaHair!

Joking.. Hoilman is the definition of all or nothing, that being said he has massive power and seems to walk alot. Could be worth watching.

Would guess Hoilman and R. Jones will compete for a Daytona 1B spot in 2012, Cuneo is in that mix, and VBach will likely start in Boise.

A lot depeneds on what they do with Greg Rohan. If they decide to see if Rohan could go up to Tennessee, then it's possible Hoilman gets a look at Daytona. My guess is that he'll be the main slugger in Peoria to start 2012, but a long ways to go. Cuneo is athletic enough to play some outfield, and he was in Peoria earlier, so between Cuneo and Hoilman, I think it's more likely that Cuneo could go up to A+.
