Although offensive coordinator Mike Martz has sung his praises, the reality is Taylor produced the lowest per-carry average (2.4) of any post-merger NFL running back who had at least 100 carries. He was not a good fit last season.

Holy crap I knew he was bad, but I didn't realize he was that bad.

Edit: Oh yeah, and this guy sorta rips on Angelo and the Bears organization for wasting money and embarrassing incidents respectively.

The Taylor thing is a cluster [expletive] now. Apparently Lovie never told Taylor he was being cut. Taylor went to talk to Lovie about why he didn't play this past week, and somehow out of that, Taylor took away that he was being cut and left the facility. Then the Bears corrected the situation to the agent. Taylor came back and talked to Angelo, and was given the rest of the day off to cool down. He's expected at practice tomorrow, but still expected to be cut by Saturday.

The same organization that told someone they were being drafted and then didn't. Also the same org that verbally agreed to a trade but "forgot" to call the trade in. Interesting organization to say the least...

I don't think the Bears did anything wrong, they're keeping til Saturday b/c of Barber's injury and Taylor misunderstood their intentions.

This is basically a tryout for Taylor.

I feel sick for defending a contract procedure by Angelo and the Bears.

Yeah, it's another in a long line of weird things, but the Bears didn't really do anything wrong here. When you have so many unprofessional screw-ups on your record, however, you can expect people to overreact to this situation.

Also the organization that once lost a prospective head coach because they announced his hiring prematurely, although that's going back several years.
