I don't know if this has been discussed,I think it has been among us at some point on here, but now the organization is surveying fans and contemplating making the switch to urinals. Just caught this part on SI.com today, then the link on Deadspin.

After visiting Wrigley Field in late June, I brought the very important issue of troughs to Hot Clicks Nation. Actually, I railed against the archaic way to do No. 1 while in the legendary ballpark. Well, clearly the organization reads Hot Clicks, because it's now asking Cubs fans if they should replace the troughs with urinals.

Hey, do you think they will sell them like bleacher seats, what a great planter box they would make or conversation piece in your newly remodelled bathroom

I'm sure we were all thinking that. Thank you for being the only one brave enough to bring it up.

I never pee at wrigley cause I have a shy bladder, heck I really don't go to wrigley anymore anyway. I'd rather hear news stores about them getting rid of bad players and bringing in good players. I care 0% about what the pee room looks like.

And still we have the disconnect where people seemingly cannot grasp that the owners can both make changes to Wrigley AND the team. At the same time! I know it's difficult to understand, but it's not an either/or situation.

That said, I'm only for getting rid of the troughs if they build more bathrooms or expand the current ones. They're too few and far between/small in Wrigley already, and going to nothing urinals and stalls without other changes to the restroom situation is going to make the wait to use them ridiculous.
