Well, of the 3 games so far that have surrounded my trips to Wrigley, the Cubs have scored 11 runs 3 times. The last time I actually went to Wrigley, we scored 1. So we'll see how the next two days go when I'm at the games.

So glad to see Dempster with another solid start. This season will be much more bearable if he's done getting lit up.

Was Dempster as solid as his line looked? Hopefully we'll see the May Dempster the rest of the way. That's four good starts out of five this month and it would be nice to be able to count on him once every five days.

 

Fun fact: The Cubs are the only team in the league without a three-game winning streak. Even the Twins (16-31) have had three three-game winning streaks. Of course, they also losing streaks of nine, six, four and four. By comparison, the Cubs only have two losing streaks of longer than two games (one of three and one of four).
