As bad overall as the starting pitching has been, and it has been bad, I can't believe the overall record isn't worse. Looking at the bright side.....

The starting pitching has been bad because Wells and Cashner got replaced by Russell and Coleman, Dempster was horrible to start the year, and Z and Garza both had some bad outings. Does anyone really think the starting pitching is going to keep sucking? Dempster, Z, and Garza are not going to be horrible all year, and Wells and Cashner should be infinitely better than Coleman and Russell. The starting pitching for this team should be fine once Wells and Cashner get back.

The starting pitching is already looking much better just from the big 3 alone (and a little from Coleman). If Dempster has another decent outing today that'll go a long way to showing that the pitching has turned a corner (bullpen's been really good, too).

One must be cautious when using pronouns that the reader can easily identify the antecedent.

 

Also, you're not making much sense there is the proper way to say what you were attempting to. Your is a possessive pronoun, not the contraction for you are.
