I'm waiting for Blues tickets to go on sale. Planning on grabbing 2 for the Dec. 3rd Hawks game. Works perfectly into my work schedule.

I'll likely end up getting tickets to that one too. Can't beat Saturday night Blues-Hawks games.

Are Blues tickets significantly cheaper than Hawks tickets? I was thinking about doing a blackhawks road trip this winter. My first thought was Minnesota or Columbus, but St. Louis might be better for the rivalry that Blues fans have with us and we sometimes reciprocate.

They are, and the secondary market is typically pretty soft.

For that Saturday night game, I'd anticipate a few thousand Hawks fans. There was one game during the cup year where I swear 1/3 of the arena was wearing red. I've been to a lot of Hawks games there, and for some reason that game was just insane. And the Hawks won.

I like the alternates, but I can't complain about seeing the red and whites more.

Exactly. And they will probably still sell the alternates as they'll be "throwback" or obscure.

The Blues third jersey is sharp. I'm sure they sell more of those than the original jerseys.

By the way, for those thinking of heading to STL to check out a Hawks game this year, single-game tickets go on sale tomorrow morning.

They go on sale at Noon online right? Gotta remember to be ready for that.

Yeah. Apparently if you go down to the arena you can buy them at 10. I'm not that motivated.

lol our old friend Byfuglien pulled a Ced Benson last night...BWI

The best part is, while he was being booked, he was weighed and came in at 286 lbs. For comparisons sake, last year he supposedly played at 245

Hawks signed Brandon Segal. Worst case scenario this means we won't see any John Scott skating forward. This could put some pressure on Ben Smith and Kruger

Does Scott's contract allow him to be sent to Rockford?

Some quick googling couldn't produce an answer. I'd assume it would be, the boys at Second City assume it is. He's only making 500k this year, so if it comes to the point where we need to get rid of him, really won't harm too much.

He's really pretty useless now that they've added a few scrappers who can actually skate. I'd be fine with releasing him.
