They both had the Lakers at #2 and the Celtics at #3. Two teams on the brink of elimination. Who did Broussard have at #5? I missed that part.

I'm gonna guess Broussard's rankings. I'm guessing Rose has the Bulls ahead of the Thunder.

1. Heat

2. Lakers

3. Celtics

4. Mavericks

5. Thunder

6. Bulls

7. Grizzlies

8. Hawks

Considering how Rose is unlikely to recover to be as explosive as he normally is the rest of the playoffs and considering how Boozer is injured and a mental midget, it makes sense that their odds would drop behind the Mavs and Thunder. Not sure why the Lakers and Celtics would be all the way up there.

Should Boozer sit out the next few games to heal up before the next series?

How quickly can you recover from turf toe? That's my biggest issue with this article. If he does get a week off, will he be healthy for the next round?

And cost the Bulls their 16-2 playoff record?? NO DEAL

Couple more games with the Heat and he's going to have nothing else to live for but his hatred of all things Bulls.

i disagree with the lakers and celtics in the top 3, but cant say the bulls should be all that high with the way theyve played.

But you gave to give them a bump due to HCA over every team as well. As tough as a Heat-bulls series would be for the Bulls, at least they have HCA, which despite the loss the other night, the Bulls have only lost on 6 times in 46 games.

Isn't having the Bulls below the Lakers and Celtics kind of absurd especially if you think Atlanta is the worst team remaining?

Not neceesarily...if you believe that the Hawks are a bad matchup for the Bulls but the Heat are an awful matchup for the Hawks or something.

Like say the person believes the Hawks have a 40% chance of beating the Bulls but a 5% chance of beating the Heat and a 10% chance of beating whoever comes out of the west. But the bulls have a 60% chance of getting past Atlanta and a 25% chance of getting past Miami and a 20% chance of getting past the WC Champ.

I dunno, yeah it is pretty stupid nevermind.

He's pretty much saying that despite being down 2-0, the Celtics have a better chance to beat the Heat than the Bulls do.

Rose, Broussard and Greenburg were all ripping Boozer, and nothing they said was wrong; he's hobbled, he's not going strong to the basket, he can't handle defenders who are longer and/or more athletic than him, etc. They also pointed out that he doesn't have the space in the paint that he did with the Jazz because Noah is more of a classic center than whoever the Jazz had at the five

They don't have home court vs the Hawks right now.

But they're a bad basketball team.

If Boozer is this hurt, he needs to be sitting. He needs to heal up, and Gibson is better than he is right now anyway.

Its a hard list to make, because despite the fact the Hawks and Grizz could both reasonably win their series, I don't seem them having any chance of winning two more series on top of that. The Bulls and Thunder meanwhile both lost a game of HCA, but have stars that make them very dangerous if they do advance. Then the Lakers should logically be the last on the list, but if they can come back, get a clean slate and HCA for the Western Finals and immediately shoot up to #1 on my list.

So it kind of depends how important you make the current series. I'll say right now, I'd choose the Bulls over the Heat if they both advance, but the fact that the odds currently favor the Heat to advance, make them have higher chances. Once the next round comes around, I'll almost throw out the past round completely, only using it as a guage of how hot the team is at the moment, but even that can change quickly.

Boozer's expiring contract is going to look real good in 2016 or whatever

I'm going to go ahead and assume/hope/pray he'll be playing in Minnesota, Toronto, Washington, or some other form of basketball hell by the time his contract expires.

I think OKC or Dallas could beat Miami. I don't think that's my irrational Heat hatred talking either.

I think we would average about 85 points per game against Miami.

I think OKC/Miami would be a tremendous series, but that's the only remaining team in the West that I think could beat them, assuming the Lakers don't come back and advance.
