I don't think he is, but have seen the name mentioned a bit. Really don't want that guy.

I'm not breaking anything. Just heard it on an ESPN Radio update and hadn't seen it mentioned hear.

And no, I've never heard of Chris Collins. Should I have?

He's recruited some pretty good Chicago talent to Duke.

Who besides Jon Scheyer? I mean he probably helped with Sean Dockery and Michael Thompson, but they sucked.

Corey Maggette, Michael Thompson, Sean Dockery, Shaun Livingston (went to the NBA instead)

Wait are you sure on Maggette? Was Collins the lead on him? And Livingston was not a Chicago recruit.

Edit: Nope, it was Quin Snyder that, paid Myron Piggie, I mean recruited Corey Maggette.

Wasn't sure about Maggette. I know Collins has been in charge of the area since around 2000 or so.

Mbakwe granted a sixth year, that's huge for Minny next year.

Man does the Big Ten have this happen more than most conferences, or is it just I follow the Big Ten more?

It seems to be happening a lot more recently. Purdue has a women's BB player and Robert Marve our starting QB coming back for sixth years next year. Hummel seemed like he was around for 6 years, but that was only 5.

Jess Settles was at iowa for at least 15 years.

More smoke on Frank Martin to South Carolina. SC's Rivals guy says that Martin will take that job if it's offered.

The top player in the state of Indiana's 2013 class (in the top 60 nationally by all services), Bryson Scott was not selected for the state's core All-Star team. Some guy not even in the top 150, and two IU recruits not nearly well regarded made the team. Brian Snow can't figure it out and most everyone with ties to Indiana basketball recruiting are openly mocking the state high school basketball coaching association. IU bias much?

Gary Parrish predicting Jerrance Howard to Kentucky after the season...

Jerrance has been promoted and stated he wants badly to stay at Illinois.

I know, I'm just passing along his tweet. He claims that one of the Kentucky assistants is leaving for a head coaching job at Duquesne (sp?).
