I don't want Mike Thomas anywhere near a basketball hire. Weber's not getting fired this year, its just not happening. However, I think Illinois is better than any Big Ten job except Indiana or MSU, especially with the renovated arena on the way.

I don't like Weber any more than either of you, however, we don't have the resources to can him. That's two major buy outs in one year that a first year AD would need the donors to buck up for. Mike Thomas' last basketball hire was Mick Cronin. I have no faith in him after he botched the football hiring. Was anyone else really bothered that he was at the basketball game instead of the volleyball match today?

Definite boo-ing going on at the end of the game, not sure about firing chants or whatever. Today is certainly the last time I shell out $$ for this team at the UC, the crowd was awful, only 14,000 or so on hand and you could hear Weber's every girly yelp.
