That was a catch and they didn't even review it.

no it wasn't. and the roughing the passer call was shameful

Look at it again. He dragged the second foot in before he went out. That's a [expletive] shameful no-call.

The toes on his lead foot were over the line.

i'm looking at it, and he's dragging his feet before the catch, but once he contacts the ball, he's out

edit: after a 3rd viewing, his right foot flies up just before he catches it

Lol no, that was not close to being a completed catch.

What were closer were Green Bay's cowardly (possibly French?) receivers dropping two well thrown balls after that.

Taylor's strengths and weaknesses are similar to Forte's...and Forte is way better.

And he makes odd decisions like that last run.

Honestly this is why at first I was confused with the Taylor signing. It seemed like they were not signing a change of pace back, but another back with a similar skillset.

Exactly. It was pretty obvious. It was one thing if he was coming in to push Forte after Forte had a subpar season but as a change-of-pace/3rd down guy, he just doesn't fit.

Aikman on the Internet feed I'm listening to during the commercial break "Can we get the Giants game on up here? I'm a little more interested in that."

Oh my goodness. That's awesome.

why is he more interested in that?

Is it possible that he was saying the Giants game is more interesting than one of the other non-playoff games being played right now?

It's 10-7 Giants now. If the Bucs somehow snuck into the 6th seed that would be amazing.

It would pretty much guarantee the Eagles coming to Chicago in 2 weeks though.

I wish the league would stop [expletive] footing around and just admit they don't want any QBs to be hit ever.

Yep. It is about to the point that they should just make it illegal to hit the quarterback. At least that would be a consistently enforceable rule.

Well we're gonna bring the starters in for sure. If Lovie takes them out he'll catch a bunch of [expletive] from the media...whereas he wouldn't have gotten any if he just sat them to begin with.

Oh well, I'm invested now. The hilarity of GB losing this game would be epic.

Ho-ho-ho.

BRING THE STARTERS BACK OUT.

You shameless contrarian, you.

It's contrarian to want to see them beat Green Bay? You traitorous [expletive].

Really, the Bears have been ultra-conservative on offense in the first half, and still lead by 3. High percentage short passes and rushes.

Defensively, though, they've played really well.
