DeMarcus Van Dy-ke, the newest Oakland Raider, posted the fastest 40 time at the combine.

Did this speedster come with hands?

He's a corner, so it's not that big a deal. He's a nice player, though I think a little early.

Wow interesting pick for the Pats.

And I love the Cobb pick for Green Bay as well.

Cobb is Percy Harvin without the high profile college experience.

Wow you think that high of him? If so my love for this pick might have turned into marriage.

Yeah man. The exact same size. Harvin's a little faster, a little quicker, but not substantially so. They can do all the same things.

That sounds awesome. Heard he can return punts as well which is big for Green Bay.

Also, a little late on this but I was so scared that Bowers was going to fall back to the Lions as well. But man they are going to be tough this year. Not used to this.

Eh, Lions still can't do anything on the back 7. Their biggest needs were CB, LB, and OT and they haven't addressed any of those so far.

Wow, I actually got a Colts 3rd round pick right. I was just looking over the scouting report for Nevis and it just screamed Colt. I was still shocked that they actually picked him though-but I guess they already got their non-division I-A player in the second round.

When reading up on Nevis before the draft the first word I saw was "undersized." When I saw that, I knew the Colts would have interest.

Alright who can tell me something about Alex Green? RB from Hawaii

Good pick. Wonderful pass catcher. He's actually kind of like Starks. Decent size. Runs hard. But runs a little straight up. Has some deceptive speed and if he gets daylight can take it to the house. But he's not going to make anyone miss. Not very shifty. Rarely used at Hawaii due to the offense his first couple years there. Doesn't have a lot of wear and tear.

I'm lukewarm on Jurrell Casey. Definitely a need pick and I like the comparisons to Mike Patterson. Still wish we had gone Fairley in the first, though.

Good value there though.

Thanks, sounds like Brandon Jackson's replacement.

That's good to hear. He seems to have the penetration ability we've been missing since Albert left town. Seems like he'll mix in nicely with Jason Jones and Sen'Derrick Marks.

I don't know anything about him, but Mike Mayock loves him.

I have a 2 set up thing going right now so I have the Brewer game on the big screen and the draft on another tv on mute. And I only have cable on the other TV so I had it on ESPN. I will have to search NFL.com for what Mayock said about him. Thank you!

On a side note, NFL Network has a great crew doing the draft today. Mayock, Charles Davis and Billick are giving really good analysis.

Yeah too bad they didn't have this last night. Faulk and Irvin add nothing and just detract from actual analysis.

Vikings took Randolph with their 2nd rounder. Love him as a player and it's a good value pick there. Plus Shank is declining and will be a free agent next year and we have no one young behind him. Hopefully he can be an 8-10 year guy there. Plus a good TE is the great security blanket for a young QB. 2 good TE's, a great slot guy and the best back in the league will give Ponder a chance if he plays next year. That's if the o-line improves and doesn't get him killed.

Disappointed they couldn't add anything defensively on the first two days though. Or o-line help.

Good receiver for a RB. Won't be an every-down back though. Cobb was a greay pick though. :(

What Mayock said in a nutshell:

He's a downhill back - what he does as well as any other back in this draft is catch the football. He's going to be an impact player this year for the Packers.

Charles Davis and Brian Billick talked a little about his versatility between running and catching as well.

Davis and Mayock are probably my two favorite TV analysts out there.

When did the Vikings acquire Chris Johnson?
