Here's what Quade will do:

Fukudome

Castro

Ramirez

Pena

Soto= giving him the benefit of the doubt here

Soriano

Dewitt

Byrd

Things you just aren't going to see from a first year manager that may never get another chance:

Soto batting 2nd

with Colvin in the lineup for Fukudome:

Castro

Dewitt

Ramirez

Pena

Soto- again giving him the benefit of the doubt, otherwise switch with Soriano

Colvin

Soriano

Byrd

Based purely on what he did at the end of the 2010 season, I see Quade going with:

Fukudome

Castro

Byrd

Pena

Ramirez

Soto

Soriano

DeWitt

I imagine that with Colvin in, he'll probably slide DeWitt up to leadoff and bat Colvin near the bottom of the order.

Again, this is based on what he did with the lineups at the end of the season. I'm hoping he'll move Ramirez up and Byrd down a bit. I would prefer:

Fukudome

Castro

Ramirez

Pena

Soto

Soriano

Byrd

DeWitt/Baker

DeWitt and Baker should platoon righty/lefty. I think the Cubs are smart enough to make that happen.

Colvin and Byrd should also platoon righty/lefty, with Fukudome shifting to center for games when Colvin is playing. Not sure the Cubs will figure that one out.

Wait. You are suggesting that Tyler Colvin should start ~75% of the games in right field with Fukudome in center and Byrd should only face lefties?
