That is one highly-talented douche.

and that 2005 clip is almost as funny as last season's

I'm pretty sure I would pay to have another player take Jackson out.

is the eagles @ giants game really at 1 PM next week? that's a huge game. eagles should win their last two (hosting the vikings and the cowboys). giants have a tougher road, playing "at" minnesota, then road games against GB and washington the last two weeks. if we win next week that pretty much wraps up the division; if we lose then we still have a decent shot to win it.

Ok so.. If the Packers don't win the division..

Giants

@ Minnesota - W

vs. Philly - L

@ Green Bay - L

@ Washington - W

Final record: 10-6

Buccaneers

vs. Detroit - W

vs. Carolina - W

@ New Orleans - L

Final record: 10-6

Packers

@ New England - L

vs. New York - W

vs. Chicago - W

Final record: 10-6*

* Win tie breaker.

This sucks, just don't lose to the Lions... :banghead:

It would be so glorious if the Jets lose at Pitt and at Chicago and end up missing the playoffs at 10-6.

Baltimore should be able to get to 10-6 with Cincinnati, Cleveland and Houston left. San Diego could (vs. SF, at Cin, at Den) as could Indy and Jacksonville. But unlike last year, it looks like the Jets would lose the tiebreakers with Jax, Balt and SD.

the bucs still have home games against detroit and carolina??? jeez their schedule has been easy.

We're done with the Bucs for the year.

Swap Seattle for Carolina.

ah ok.

still, they could make it into the playoffs having beaten the following teams:

cleveland (5-8)

carolina (2x) (1-12)

cincinnati (2-11)

st louis (6-7)

arizona (4-9)

san francisco (5-8)

washington (5-8)

detroit (3-10)

seattle (6-7)

so the teams they would have beaten currently have a combined record of 38-92.

with losses against:

pittsburgh

baltimore

atlanta (2x)

new orleans (2x)

if the eagles play in the first round i'd be perfectly happy to have them play tampa (and the NFC west winner, obviously).

Wait.... Peyton Hillis is white?

his name is peyton hillis, what did you expect

He also just found out Jamarcus Russell is black.

Didn't he have like a handful of fantasy posts in this thread though? How do you not know that?

well, i sure picked a really good game to go to. obviously it was a great game, and we can use our tickets from yesterday to see NYG-MIN tonight

on a side note, Rodgers is such a complete idiot. you have the first down, just slide. he almost got lit up earlier doing the same thing

He's done that all throughout his career. If he didn't learn his lesson yesterday, he never will. The only way we can salvage losing that game yesterday is by somehow defeating the Patriots on the road.

Apparently, they're going to try to have the Metrodome up and running for next Monday night. We need you now more than ever, Vikings!

Hmmm...I know the Bears got trounced, and I know power rankings don't matter...yadda yadda...but how does Peter King justify keeping the Packers ranked 8th...2 spots ahead of the Bears?

His rationale is that we probably would've beat Detroit if Rodgers wasn't concussed.

The rankings are completely arbitrary. I'd much rather be in your position than be in ours right now.

Sure...and I know they're arbitrary, but since the Packers didn't score while Rodgers was playing, I think he's making a false assumption, if that's his rationale. But I'll let it go rather than turn it into some long discussion like the last power rankings discussion...lol.

How do you let that go through your hands?

Because DHB sucks.

Every time a Raider WR drops a pass, I think about how awesome it would be to have Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson and Michael Crabtree instead of Robert Gallery, JaMarcus Russell and DHB.

Larry Fitzgerald.

and you're still pining for Crabtree? he's been kinda gnarly his whole career so far. i think it's pretty fair to say both guys blow

I'm just surprised he had the nerve to rank the Jets 12th. That Sanchez bandwagon is falling apart. I love it.

You'll be singing a different tune next week when the Bears play Minnesota at the Metrodome and the roof falls onto just the Bears players (and somehow misses hitting Favre).

Thanks for the correction. Was a year off on my top-3 WR pick.

And I wouldn't say pining so much as saying the Raiders passed up on the much better player (as of now) and under that scenario, he'd be a great third WR.

How do you separate Crabtree's performance from the QB's that have been throwing to him?
