yeah - ever tried to play football on asphalt? I was amazed when I went to ND. Almost all the NYC/NE kids there, even in grad programs, were athletically talented at something, but it was often swimming, tennis, hoops, etc. Most couldn't even throw a football, let alone actually run and catch at the same time.
