Allen was fifth, second, and first the last three years in sacks. Call him an inbred piece of trash, but he is arguably the best DE in the league.

That game defied all logic. Their offense couldn't do anything until they had 3rd and 19 before half and we called a timeout to have time to score. Then they had 2 special teams TD's. We had 3 trips inside the 10 that totaled 3 points. The last stuff was the end of the season. Crowd was silent, the team had no energy and looked like they were trying to get Chilly fired.

 

Then out of nowhere the DL wakes up and starts totally dominating, Allen couldn't be blocked, Favre was impeccable, Berrian made his first appearance of the year and has a big day and they look like the best team in football for the last 5 minutes of regulation and OT.

Nice choke job by the Cardinals in that game too. They were up by 14 with 4 minutes left and proceeded to not even try to play defense down the stretch.

Come on. He's not having a good year but he clearly has been one of the handful of elite DE's in the league over the last 5 years.
