Dwight Howard is going to get penalized because he doesn't dribble the ball up the court and he's had a good season before.

And because he's essentially useless in clutch situations.

And if you could actually put your best hitter up in all clutch situations, clutch stats in baseball might actually matter and there might be a big enough sample size for a player's clutch hitting ability to actually be able to be evaluated. But you can't. That's not the case in basketball.

(This isn't intended to be within the framework of any Rose vs. x player argument - just in pointing out how insanely different the sports and the way play should be evaluated are)

I'd rather have him at center for 47 minutes than Rose at PG for 48.

And I wouldn't say you're wrong for that, but I wouldn't because I think Dwight is kind of a douchebag cartoon character.

That's why this is so painful for me. I legitimately love watching Rose play and Dwight kind of makes me sick to my stomach

Out of curiosity, switch Noah and Rose for Dwight and Nelson. Who's the better team?

The bulls because they have boozer and deng and an awesome bench.

Derrick Rose has the greatest crossover dribble in the history of Western Civilization.

Edit:

that's [expletive] art

That was a big enough carry that it might have been a travel(couldn't tell exactly with the camera angle).

Haha, just watched it, he carried it about 4 times.

What do you call Rondo's little cradle move, when he palms the ball, takes 2 steps, pulls it back, takes two more steps, and then passes it to the guy behind him when he has a wide open layup in front of him?

Take it to the General NBA thread, this one's for Bulls discussion.

I dare anyone to try to defend anything Bucher says in this article? He makes a complete fool out of himself. The fact that he's getting clowned by chris [expletive] broussard is even more hilarious.

Yeah that was an awful defense. It's a nearly impossible thing to argue anyways. Rose has had a fantastic season, but I don't know who would rather him than LeBron when starting a team.

My favorite:

There was a time you could take your list of categories and McGrady would've topped Kobe in all but the defender category. Rasheed Wallace had it over Tim Duncan in "every" category.

Arguing that Wallace was ever better than Duncan in any aspect other than getting technical fouls and 3-pointers is nearly as crazy as Rasheed himself. Plus he then goes on to say that McGrady had a better season than Kobe in 02-03 as if that validates his statement but completely ignores that Duncan was better than Wallace every single season of their careers.
