Rose a starting guard for the Eastern Conference.

SUCK IT RONDO!!!!!!*

He didn't want to start anyway.

Did he know that passing this off won't go toward his assist total?

I liked this

The Tribune seems to think that Boozer has a decent shot to make the AS team and that Deng has an outside chance at being selected as a reserve. Does anyone here think either of them could (or should) be all stars?

What? Why would Boozer be an all-star?

Because the East only has 6 teams with all-star worthy players, and the roster isn't all that deep?

But Boozer's played 2/3 of a season and doesn't play defense. I have a hard time imagining he's worthy.

It's like he's playing in the all-star game all year long, then.

On a serious note, who are the worthy backup bigs in the East after Garnett and likely Horford? Noah and Bosh are injured and won't play. At that point you're left deciding between guys like Lopez, Boozer, and Gerald Wallace to fill what will probably be 2 spots.

I've never heard of peptic ulcers being caused by spicy food before. Rose said that's what caused it, or at least he thought so.

I can see not eating spicy food while they heal, but causing it?

Oh well, hope he's feeling better. Perhaps that explains some of the more recent struggles.

Andrew Bogut?

Yeah, probably more so than Wallace this year, was just throwing out any possibilities. Bogut, Lopez and Boozer are probably the players in the running for the last 1-2 big man spots.

Here's how I see the team shaking out:

Known Starters: Rose, Wade, James, Stoudemire, Howard

Reserve locks: Rondo, Pierce, Garnett, Horford, Josh Smith

Pick 2 of: Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez, Carlos Boozer, Andrew Bogut, Raymond Felton

I'm pretty sure Bosh will be back well before the ASG. I would assume he's in.

Not really sure why he deserves it. His numbers aren't very good and he's the main reason the Heat aren't a dominating force because he gets knocked around in the paint. Boozer>>>Bosh.

Speaking of Bogut, thank goodness the Bulls got the #1 pick the year Rose came out.

The ASG is in 3 weeks. Let's say Bosh comes back in a week, as speculated. I'm not sure either Bosh or the Heat even want him to play in that game two weeks removed from an injury.

Really, I feel the same way about Boozer. He's injured enough, let the guy have a week off.

I wouldn't use Bosh's defense as a way to show Boozer is better than him

You really think mr. "I just want to be on TV" would pass up an opportunity to play on another all star team as part of the heat trio?

The guy's already missed two weeks with a sprained ankle and I'm pretty sure he's going to miss at least another week. The Heat might just have him rest until after the All-Star break, at this rate.

Sorry, I just keep stumbling on Bulls stuff
