Are the Lakers serious right now?

They've been pathetic the last two games. They stunk at home to Utah and it's almost inconceivable to score 55 points in three quarters against Golden State. And it's mostly the fault of the bench also.

Woohoo! Thanks. \:D/ I'm definitely attending at least one of the Pacers two home games in the series.

Yeah I'm definitely going to as well. I owe the Area 55 guys who tailgate outside some beer so no better time to pay it back than the playoffs. Its gonna be fun regardless.

When do the tickets go on sale. I am planning on invading your stadium for Game 4, but I havent found anything about sale dates.

Edit: nevermind just saw tomorrow at noon.

Wow, Lakers lose again. Given the remaining schedule, I'd say that kills just about any hopes they had of getting home court for the finals vs. the Bulls.

It would be nice if they could wake up enough to have home court over Boston and Miami.

Spurs clinch 1 seed, Pacers clinch 8 seed, Thunder clinch division, Portland and New Orleans clinch playoff spots.

Which means pre-sale access for Indiana residents only ends soon. Get on it Sosa.

No...the indiana only thing is for 72 hours. Any of my fine Indiana area NSBB members want to help me out?? :) I really want to make the trip and I'm the least obnoxious visiting sports fan ever. I'll send you a paypal payment before you even buy the tickets for me :)

No, there's also a sale before the 72 hour sale. I would have helped you out if not for that comment.

Which comment?

Yes, there is an Indiana only presale, and then a 72 hour Indiana only sale to the general public, then the rest of the public gets the scraps, correct?

Yes, you have that right, and I was just messing with you. The pre-sale access ends in less than 2 hours so I was just saying Sosa should get in on it before most people start buying their tickets here.

Another oddity: the Cavs no longer have the worst record in the NBA, as winning 4 of their last 12 games caused them to pass Minnesota. They can't even tank right.

Guys, I'm pulling up Pacer tickets left and right.

The whole thing is if your billing address isn't an Indiana residency you can't have them yet.

But Pacers basketball still hasn't recouped close to the amount of fans it had pre-brawl era. You're gonna be able to grab some seats no worries.

Unless Ron Artest is on the other team

I wonder if the Indiana residency thing would be in place if the Bulls weren't a likely first round opponent.

I'm guessing it would be a lot less likely but who knows.

I got a ticket to Game 3 today. 15th row, lower level. \:D/

Being that these will be the first Pacers home playoff games since 2006 I imagine that will help with filling the place. Plus yeah, Bulls fans (the real ones + the wagoners) will surely scoop up what is left.

I won't be surprised to see a Bulls crowd. Bulls fans will scalp tickets. The price will be small compared to buying playoff tickets at the UC. Indy fans know they're probably going to lose and will gladly take the money. And plenty of enterprising Indy residents will buy tickets knowing they can sell them to Bulls fans.

If you're an Orlando or Atlanta fan, there's a crazy detailed playoff preview up on NBA Playbook, by Sebastian Pruiti. This is just the first of 8 previews, and he's doing them once a day, trying to pick the likeliest matchups possible. Tomorrow is likely Chicago-Indiana.
