Not as gerrymandered as the Big 10, but Utah/Colorado swapping with Stanford/Cal seems obvious.

The Oregon and Washington schools threw a fit about never getting to go to California and it killing their recruiting.

With regards to the championship game, the attendance would be embarrassingly poor at a neutral NFL size field.

Not that we didn't see it coming but it really sucks that the California schools are not in the same division.

The biggest surprise is the championship game. The division winner with the best conference record will get to host the championship game.

Interesting, but what other option do they have? The only realistic neutral site would be San Diego.

Vegas.

Plus I don't think it has to be all that neutral. When the Big XII title game is in KC or Dallas is anyone under the impression that it's really a neutral site? Or the Georgia Dome if say UGA or Florida is in the game? Or wherever the hell they play the ACC championship (if anyone cared).

I'm pretty surprised they're going with a host and I wouldn't expect it to last.

Good God. Oregon looks like they are playing a video game when they play bad teams. Especially at home.

They've scored on all five drives in the first half and went at least 55 yards on each including at least 77 on three of them.

I don't think UCLA came close to stopping them. How the hell did they blow out Texas?

First time I actually sat down to watch Oregon play. Wow. They are fast and impressive.

Casey Matthews looks exactly like his brother with pads on. I am not a great draft mind but does anyone know where he is projected to go? Round wise?

I want to see Boise in the BCS title game, but I'd really love to see a bowl matchup between Oregon and Alabama. Two completely contrasting styles, but both teams are really good at what they do.

I'd like to see a very good defensive team play Oregon.

Bama's top 11 in yards/game. Oregon/TCU would be really interesting as well. If you're just looking at defenses, LSU has been really, really good this year, but there's no way they'd hang with Oregon unless Les Miles invested in a half dozen or so more horseshoes.

NIU ran at will against Minnesota. Penn State wins by double digits.

hope so, since Minny and IU are the only two games I think they can win this season

Texas did have 5 1st half turnovers.

UCLA only scored 13 points in the first half against Texas. Texas' offense was wretched that day and their defense couldn't stop UCLA's run game. Oregon's offense is infinitely better than Texas'.

IU calling horrible plays. Your QB that can only run in an empty backfield. Illinois put 6 in the box against 5 blockers and ironically enough stops the play. Oh and a fumble to go with it.

How in the hell did Northwestern lose at home to Purdue?

They almost lost to Minnesota also. They are just one of those teams who plays pretty much everyone closely.
