A couple of spots open for debate:

QB:

Kyle Orton vs. NYJ

Matt Schaub vs. KC

I keep starting Schaub, because I'm ready for him to break out (and Orton was playing the Ravens last week), and this seems like another no-brainer, but I keep getting burned.

WR:

I think, just based off of their production so far, I have to start Brandon Lloyd and Malcom Floyd. As for my number 3 WR:

I really don't want to go against Greg Jennings. I really don't. But, he's killing me. Other options are Mike Williams (vs NO) and Brandon Tate (vs Bal).

RB:

Definitely starting Bradshaw vs. Det.

Other RB:

Ryan Matthews @ StL

Peyton Hillis @ Pit

Ryan Torain vs. IND

Currently have Matthews starting, because it looks like he's finally healthy.

The Jets are surprisingly giving up more fantasy points to opposing QB's than the Chiefs. I think Revis may be out again too. I think they're pretty equal, I would go Orton because I'm a Purdue homer and like cheering for him.

I would go with Jennings at WR if Rodgers starts and with Williams (TB) if Rodgers doesn't start.

I would go with Mathews against STL at RB. I think this is his 'breakout' week.

Any thoughts on Big Ben vs. Joe Flacco this week? Obvious answer is Ben, but it's his first game back. Will he be rusty? Should I count on him to roll anyway because it's a bad Cleveland team he's facing?

I'm starting to lean towards Orton, because I'm a pretty big sucker for QB/WR combos.

And, the Browns really aren't all that bad. They're 1-4, but are only -19 net points, and have faced teams with a combined 16-7 record. Plus, they aren't nearly as bad on the defensive side of the ball as they have been in recent years.

That said, I'd still start big ben.

More of a pickup question rather than a sit/start question:

I currently have Johnny Knox v Seattle as one of my starting WRs if Calvin doesn't play Sunday (sounds bad after hearing Schwartz's comments).

I'm looking at picking up either Mike Wallace v Cleveland or Davone Bess v GB. This seems like an obvious choice to me, but I'm having trouble pulling the trigger on Wallace. Am I an idiot for wavering?

Go get Wallace.

Thanks for setting me straight fellas.

Now for another, related question:

Assuming Calvin does not play, do I start Knox or Shonn Greene v Denver in my RB/WR flex spot? Brandon Jacobs v Detroit is another option for that spot.

Hmmm...Not a huge fan of any of those really. Actually Bess might be a better option than any of those if you wanna grab him too.

I'll probably wait until I hear for sure what's up with Calvin before dropping anybody. I'd hate to drop any of the three (or McFadden after how well he's played), but I'd have to in order to pick up Bess. My only other option is to cut Roethlisberger, but I'd hate to do that with Schaub not exactly lighting the world on fire.

I think most rankings have Bess higher than Knox or Greene at this point.

I'm more likely to cut Knox at this point, I think. I like Bess and, even though I like Knox fairly well, I think he'll be more consistently good than Knox. Greene has more upside than any of them if LT breaks down at some point this season.

Mike Wallace vs CLE, Pierre Thomas vs TB(might not play), or Jahvid Best vs NYG? I kinda expect Pittsburgh to go crazy with Ben coming back so I'm leaning towards Wallace.

I think Greene can be productive even with a healthy LT, much like Williams and Stewart for Carolina the past two years. Last week I started both in the NSBB league. LT had the yardage, Greene had the TD, and both gave me double-digit points.

Start 3 WR's:

Boldin v. NE

Floyd v. STL

D. Jackson v. ATL

Welker v. BAL

Pretty set on playing Boldin and Floyd, but having trouble choosing between Welker and Jackson. I'm worried about Welker without Moss there and BAL has slowed him in the past. D. Jackson has had some monster games, but has completely and utterly bombed with Kolb this year.

The problem with a clear backup RB, though, is that if he doesn't get a TD or two, he's completely worthless to me because he won't get the carries to have significant yardage. Greene can be valuable if you already have LT or if he punches in a TD or two, but he will be valuable if LT remembers he's washed up and Greene regains the starting role.

I have the same issue with Schaub. He is frustrating the hell out of me the last couple of weeks. KC's defense does worry me some too along with Andre Johnson not being 100%.

A guy in my league is seriously considering my Brandon Lloyd and Peyton Hillis for Adrian Peterson and Ocho Cinco trade proposal. Man, that would be fantastic. Talk about selling high.
