Well, you had to figure with 5 PGs on the roster of 13, that one of them was going to be the final cut. Odd that Rondo had slipped to third on the depth chart behind Rose and Westbrook, though.

In all seriousness, why are there so many damn PGs on the team, and no guys who can shoot besides Curry?

 

Is this some fantasy Illini fan world in which Eric Gordon doesn't exist?

 

Judging by the fallout, I'd think this would be an Indiana fan's fantasy. But yeah, I didn't realize Gordon shot the 3 so well in the pros

I almost feel like the team USA people try to increase the level of difficulty by purposely lacking in certain areas.

 

Either that or they decided that they'd rather have someone like Andre Iguodala than Kyle Korver.

Prediction: The idea that Rondo is a better player than Rose will look completely laughable after this season.

 

I mean it already is but I can see why you would be duped (kinda).

Team USA beat Greece (#4 in the world) 87-59 today. Rose played just 19 minutes, but went 6-7 (missed a 3) for 13 points with 2 rebounds, 2 assists and no turnovers.

 

Eric Gordon led all scorers with 18 points.

I know who Eric Gordon is. He's the guy that's gonna be so good Deron Williams will be carrying his gym to games. That'll happen anyday now. I was told so by IU fans on here.

 

That said he's a better pro than I thought he would be. I really thought he would struggle to get his shot off.
