    • Neither will get fired this year. They'll both be here for 2011.

Piniella won't be fired, they'll just let his contract expire so he can retire. Hendry will be fired.

I voted for Lou but I didn't think about this. I actually wanted to vote for neither but I don't think Lou will be back next year.

I don't think Lou gets fired. He will just quit.

He already quit. He's just still drawing a check.

It's clearly a glitch that needs to be fixed.

Lou will just not be back next year, and Hendry will hopefully be fired by October.

Its got to be Lou. Hendry has made some bad decisions over the years, but the damage is done, and unless theres a replacement in mind, a punishment firing at this time benefits nobody. If they want to get rid of him in the offseason because they have someone in mind, thats fine.

As for Lou, he needs to go ASAP. The Cubs chances of doing anything this year are beyond slim to none, but with Lou at the helm, their 0. Hes completely lost. Trotting out ridiculous lineups, and the only thing he wont fix is moving Lee down. Hes playing the wrong guys, benching the wrong guys. Fontenot should be the full time 2B. Fukudome should be playing more, especially if they plan on trading him, and with the DH rule in effect, this would be the prime time to showcase, if nothing else his defensive skills no matter what hand the pitcher on the mound throws the ball from.

The ironic part is that Hendry actually had himself a pretty good offseason without spending much money at all. Granted, the Grabow extension was awful and pointless, but he flipped Bradley for Silva, who has been our most consistant pitcher and saved some money in the process, and that was the deal that was supposed to be the nail in his coffin. He then signed Marlon Byrd for a steal of a deal, and even Xavier Nady was a pretty good deal. granted, he would have been more relevant had Tyler Colvin not emerged, forcing him into a 5th outfielder/spot start 1B, but we could still end up with a solid prospect or 2 for him.
