doesn't look good for this hall of fame drug user.

LowHud.com, the Web site for the Journal News newspaper, reported that the victim is a 15-year-old girl who was beaten by the former New York Giants linebacker. According to the paper, Taylor will be charged with third-degree rape, a charge that involves sex with a minor.

I always think Lawrence Taylor, and then rethink if it's about Tomlinson. I'm not sure how people managed to transfer one of the most iconic initialed nicknames ever from one player who was huge in the 80's and 90's to a guy who arrived on the scene one decade later. I never think Tomlinson first.

Simple. A lot of those people are too young to have initially associated LT with Lawrence that much.

I'm 27 and I definitely think Tomlinson first.

I had sort of forgotten Taylor even existed until I saw his scene in The Waterboy.

Can you be kicked out of the hof?

Unfortunately not or OJ would have by now....ooops I was just reminded OJ was found innocent.

Of murder, yes.

Of armed robbery, no.

It took a while, but OJ is finally in a jail cell where he belongs.

I get a teenager not thinking of Taylor at all. If you're 27 you were only about 10 by the time he retired, although you were a teenager when he was very much in the news. But the others who have mentioned it, plus many people I know, are much older than that.

And a pimp was involved?

Someone is guilty of this. The girl was beaten. If it's LT, he can look forward to telling his HOF stories to fellow inmates for a good long time.

I agree, but didn't ESPN try to make the LT name stick with Tomlinson? I can see how it would transfer, but I do think it's strange.

I'm not a big fan of just using initals for a nickname anyway. It seems lazy.

sounds like cops are saying the pimp beat her up in the process of bringing her to mr. taylor's room

I'm seeing where she said no to the pimp, but not to Taylor...of course we aren't getting the full facts.
