Lynx (4-0) at Alamo Stealth (3-1)

Harrys Budcrew (3-1) at Ron Washington's Dealers (2-2)

Northside Baseball (2-2) at Sock it Thome (0-4)

NC Cubs (0-4) at Galesburg Hand Sanitizers (3-1)

Quakers (0-4) at The Eyes of Texas (0-4)

Kid Rodelo (3-1) at Tootielicious (2-2)

Mighty D-Block (2-2) at Bazingas (1-3)

Fuzzy Logistics (3-1) at Saber Metrics (4-0)

Top 4 teams in the West play each other, so we'll call those the featured match ups for the week. They can all be 4-1 after this week, or Lynx and SABR can create some more separation.

I have some bad pitching match-ups this week. Don't like either of Garcia or Penny in Philly, but only 7 starts to choose from.

I have 10 starts, but 3 are on Sunday. ](*,) After I boot both of Livan's starts and probably the Millwood start, you get to see Sabathia twice, James Shields twice, Oswalt twice and 1 start from Johan. That's the early plan without spending too much time staring at the screen. I reserve the right to bench Johan after last night.

pretty happy to be 3-1 considering street, hill and rollins have been injured, teix, granderson and sheets have been terrible, and both my closers lost their jobs within a week and a half.

my first seven draft picks:

granderson - terrible/now injured

hill - injured

wolf - so-so

lowe - terrible

street - injured

francisco - terrible/lost his job

conor jackson - injured

so, yeah, i'm pretty good at drafting.

What pick did you take Granderson? I was all set to nab him with my pick at #6, but Zimmerman was still there so I changed my mind at the last minute. I thought Granderson would be a stud in NY. Well, he still can be......

Of course, Zimmerman has only played in half his team's games this year, and without actually going on the DL.

Lot O starts to choose from.

Wainwright is obviously starting both games @ PHI and @ PIT

But then I need to pick the right 5 from:

Harden @ OAK and vs. KC

Matusz @ NYY and @ MIN

Morrow @ CLE

CJ Wilson vs. KC

Peavy vs. KC and vs. TOR

Morrow and Wilson have been pitching well, so I think I will go with them. Peavy has been so bad, that I don't want to risk starting him. I'll probably take out any start vs. the Yankees. Three matchups w/ KC who has only put up more than 4 runs once in 8 games.

With 10 starts this week (where were they 2 weeks ago when I had to pick David Huff up for my 6th start?), I can bench Cole Hamels and Huff.

Wow.. I ran into a buzz saw last week. Chuck kicked my ass with only 6 starts. When you hit 19 dongs in a week, it certainly helps. Hope to change it around this week, because if I do lose more than the next couple in a row, I'll go from what I think can contend to a seller.

I think I proved just how awesome my team is this year.

Start making offers, everyone! (Pujols is expensive, btw)

Dudes like 60 and totally in decline. Can't you read?

I don't need to worry about making any wrong pitching decisions this week. I have 7 starting pitchers on my roster and every one of them is scheduled for only one start this week.

Now it looks like I'll have only 6 starts this week. The Yankees are pushing Vaszquez back until next Monday.

Of course, the way he's been pitching this year that might be a good thing.

Now I'm down to five starts for the week. Lannan is going to miss his next scheduled start because of an undetermined arm issue.

Garrett Jones in for Johnny Damon due to injury.

Also, if anyone wants one my injured guys, save Montero, make me an offer.

Paging Juan

(or any acting commish)

I plead guilty. Apparently I lost track of starts. The extra start may decide which team is 1-4 and which team is 0-5. This could be crucial to who gets the #1 draft pick next year.

I am not sure who you deduct. Floyd had -4.5 points and Talbot had 2.5 points (don't laugh, but these are amongst my best starters this year).

Who does Talbot pitch for? Which game started first of the two?

Who does Talbot pitch for? Which game started first of the two?

Talbot pitches for the Indians. His game started first.

I have mixed feelings about this game. On the one hand it sucks being 0 for the season. On the other hand, having the number one pick next year would be nice.

I take that back. I am unsure which game was first. Talbot is done and Floyd is still pitching. But I am not sure if it matters. Isn't it the highest score??

For the first offense it's the 8th start if one game started later than the other and the highest score among those two starts if both games start at the same time. For the second offense I believe it's the highest score for the week that you lose. There was discussion of this a few weeks ago when Chuck accidentally had 8 starts.

Seriously...my team is bad, even though I've got some very valuable commodities.

everyone is for sale at the right price, people!

The Cleveland game started an hour before the White Sox game.

So it should be Talbot counting and not Floyd. Since Al made his earlier posts Floyd has actually surpassed Talbot's score at least for now, but by only one point.
