Doesn't really matter. Can Dwight Howard guard LeBron, Wade and Bosh at the same time? Howard is not an offensive player. Defense is a great thing, but guys who can create for themselves and score consistently are a rare asset in the league. The Heat would have 3 guys who could do that.

We've never had a situation like this, so who knows? But I'm hard pressed to remember a team that didn't win with an inside presence. The Lakers went from nothingness with Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom (way better than Chris Bosh) to a juggernaut with the addition of Pau Gasol.

Dwight Howard may not have an inside game, but I'm not sure how needed it will be if he's facing up against Dexter Pittman.

The 90s Bulls didn't have a strong inside presence.

I believe you are forgetting the Bill Wennington Luc Longley combo which could only be measured in greatness with Kevin McHale Robert Parish Duo. And if they had won a championship we would be talking about the tandem of Rik Smits and Greg Kite.

He's going to wait until the last minute, then the screen will freeze right as he says "I've decided to sign with." Underneath him will be the words "to be continued..."

Nah, it's just going to cut to black in mid-sentence ala The Sopranos.

RT @gregcote: #Heat LeBron-to-Miami may not be happening. Heat has canceled a full-page welcome ad in The Miami Herald. I'm serious.

Chris Bosh is going to be disappointed. He's been pimping "The Decision" all day on twitter:

Finally done with my physicals! I have to hurry so I can get in front of the TV and watch "The Decision"

Good morning. Waking up to more speculation. This makes tonight's show more interesting.

I see ESPN has a name for the show tomorrow... "The Decision". I know I'm going to watch it! #freeagency continues...

Horace Grant was the definition of replaceable. He had nothing to do with winning or not winning those championships.

So you think the lack of rebounding and defense provided by Grant had nothing to do with the Bulls losing to the Magic? Also, how do you explain the Bulls, with Grant and without Jordan, losing to the Knicks only because of a crap call the year before that? Grant was hugely important to those teams and they wouldn't have gotten the second 3 if they hadn't gotten a defensive and rebounding guy to replace him at the PF spot.

Agreed. Grant was an awesome role player. Was pissed to see him go.

KCJHoop: Since LeBron became "getable" in early May, I've always had Cavs first and Bulls second. And with 45 minutes to go, I still do.

WojYahooNBA: Y! Sources: LeBron's camp still selling Miami hard as the choice, but Cavs officials believe he'll stay. bhttp://tinyurl.com/36ohfxr

A.k.a....nobody has any [expletive] clue.

I'm rooting for Cleveland now. Since it looks like the Bulls are out, keeping LeBron in his hometown gives the Bulls a great shot for contending in the East.

I rationalized so I'm happy no matter what tonight.

LeBron to the Bulls would be awesome obviously.

I'd be fine with the Heat or the Knicks because then he's at least out of the division and we would at least be able to win some division titles (obviously I'd rather see him go the Knicks because then the league would be more balanced giving the Bulls a shot.

And I'd be ok with him staying in Cleveland because then the league would be more balanced (although Cleveland would be much better then the Bulls).

The only real scenario where I see the Bulls having a shot at the title though would be the obvious one. If he signs here.

All of LeBron's friends are still blabbing it all over town that he's going to Miami with just hours left. Right. All the more reason he's not going there and he's probably going to Cleveland. Which I can certainly live with.
