If LeBron wants to win, he'll go to Miami. Period.

Who cares if Wade and Bosh are already there? Do people question Magic Johnson's legacy because he played with Kareem?

And he'll always have one less ring than D-Wade. Nothing like being the second option on your own team for being a guy that wants to be the best player ever.

Always? Lebron is what, 3 years younger?

Unless he wins one by being the main option of a team when he's 35, he'd remain behind Wade on the legacy totem pole.

So you honestly believe LeBron would have a better resume than Wade?

So if LeBron signs with Miami, he's going to be the "second option"? What does that mean to you, exactly?

I honestly think that might be a good sign. A lot of people that speculated Broussard is being used as the puppet of LeBron's crew to give the info the stuff they want them to think. Also, why would ESPN want to take away the suspense from the show they're televising tomorrow? Who knows.

I also like the "barring of change of heart" line

I honestly believe Chris Broussard is being used by James' as a puppet, and that the Heat is a smokescreen. I think it will come down to Chicago and Cleveland. This is why you don't believe anything ESPN or their writers, etc, say because there is a huge conflict of interests. I think Broussard and the Heat are being used.

Except Broussard wouldn't be a puppet and this wouldn't be a smokescreen if he were reporting James to the Bulls. Then you guys would be talking about how he was the first to report Wade/Bosh. And he would be a classy guy, best in the business.

Exactly. Broussard was the first to connect the "LeBron to Chicago" dots, which is the only reason Bulls fans have convinced themselves Chicago is on the radar.

People will write the history however they see fit.

You could say "Wade couldn't win a title until the Heat got Shaq, and he couldn't win another until the Heat got James".

Who cares? LeBron just wants to get the "never won a title" monkey off his back

He's playing in Wade's town. "Wade County" and all of that stupid [expletive] doesn't mean anything to you?

I don't know, I just have a hard time seeing LeBron going to a place where he wouldn't be "the man."

Wait, you think Chicago isn't actually on the radar?

Lebron will be "the man". He's the global icon.

I guess that was worded wrong. I shouldn't do anything before 9 a.m. What I should have said:

How am I supposed to know? I just think it's stupid to dismiss all speculation from ESPN that LeBron is going to Miami when it was ESPN that started pushing the "LeBron could be going to Chicago" rumor 20 minutes after Cleveland was eliminated.

Jeez. Maybe. He won't replace Wade as an icon in the town, but he'll get equal spotlight, I'd guess. And internationally he'll still be more famous.

Bosh is the one that will be seen as 3rd banana, I would think. But I don't think he cares - he just wants $ and titles. He's not on the James/Wade lever anyway.

I don't know how you would know, I'm just asking what you were saying. It seemed to me that you were making fun of Bulls fans for being the only idiots who actually thought Chicago was in the running.

No, I'm just going off Hawkeye's point that Broussard/ESPN is just LeBron's puppet, except when they're speculating that LeBron is joining the Bulls.
