Are we convinced a Lebron-Wade-Bosh and 9 scrubs would be a championship team? (I'm assuming they have to trade Beasely to get the rest of the space, and Wade and Bosh agree to take a little less)

I mean I'm sure they'd be spectacular each night, but those 3 guys can't play 48 minutes a game and even the Celtics with their fearsome 3 had amazing play from roleplayers such as Perkins, Rondo and recently Glenn Davis

This just in. From a reliable source close to the situation. LeBron has discovered which member of his posse has been leaking stuff to Chris Broussard and ruined his ESPN special tomorrow. The unnamed person has been kicked out of LeBron's pool house and all Xbox 360 privileges have been revoked. Stay tuned.

if derrick and jo are able to drag this team to a finals appearance and a few battles for the EC crown in the next 5 years or so this town will [expletive] adore them

i don't want to set the bar too low or anything but i'm prepared to root for that if that's what it comes down to

you never know

i'm 90% a win at any costs kinda guy but i do have a sentimental attachment to "our guys." i would love to root for a legitimmate contender where rose was the best player on the team.

I'm upset for Cleveland, but seeing a LeBron-Wade combo is indescribable. This whole thing is just weird.

But I do think it's mighty big of LeBron sacrificing his ego to become Dwyane Wade's sidekick.

I'm not buying this Miami talk. I think it's a smoke screen.

Smoke screen to what? At this point I dont think that would do anything.

To make the announcement show tonight exciting when he shocks everyone expecting him to choose the Heat.

Ratings. Really, I don't believe a word out of ESPN at this point, and I'm only slightly less skeptical of other media.

Representatives for LeBron James spent Wednesday calling free agents to gauge their interest in strengthening Miami's roster, sources told Yahoo! Sports.

LeBron's reps went as far as to propose scenarios where the Heat would trade Michael Beasley in order to create additional cap space to sign a complementary player.

Unless players play for the minimum I really don't see how they can fill out their roster with nothing but scrubs.

If LeBron wants to win, he'll go to Miami. Period.

Who cares if Wade and Bosh are already there? Do people question Magic Johnson's legacy because he played with Kareem?

Or Chicago, and he wouldn't have to call players begging them to take a pay cut to play with them.

Chicago is deeper, but no one on the Bulls roster is as good as Wade or Bosh

I honestly think that might be a good sign. A lot of people that speculated Broussard is being used as the puppet of LeBron's crew to give the info the stuff they want them to think. Also, why would ESPN want to take away the suspense from the show they're televising tomorrow? Who knows.

I also like the "barring of change of heart" line

I honestly believe Chris Broussard is being used by James' as a puppet, and that the Heat is a smokescreen. I think it will come down to Chicago and Cleveland. This is why you don't believe anything ESPN or their writers, etc, say because there is a huge conflict of interests. I think Broussard and the Heat are being used.

Except Broussard wouldn't be a puppet and this wouldn't be a smokescreen if he were reporting James to the Bulls. Then you guys would be talking about how he was the first to report Wade/Bosh. And he would be a classy guy, best in the business.

Boozer isn't much of a drop off from Bosh.

but he's still a drop off. And Rose (at this point) is not Dwyane Wade.

Long term, he's better off with the Bulls, but in the short term, Miami will give him his best shot at a title

And he'll always have one less ring than D-Wade. Nothing like being the second option on your own team for being a guy that wants to be the best player ever.
